Back At Bonefish Grill!


While summer may seem to be winding down, we still have sunshine and seaside dishes in mind! Last week Emily and I treated Erik and our parents to a dinner at Bonefish Grill. It can be difficult to find a restaurant to accommodate everyone's tastes, but thankfully Bonefish Grill has something on the menu for everyone!

For starters: Imperial Dip. 
Our favorite appetizer!
 A blend of shrimp, scallops, lump crab, Mozzarella and Parmesan served with seasoned chips.
...
For me: Wild Alaskan Salmon & Shrimp. 
A summer seasonal dish!
Wood-grilled salmon and three jumbo shrimp topped with a creamy Parmesan artichoke sauce, with a side of freshly roasted tomatoes and asparagus.
...
For Em: Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos. 
Our favorite kind of shrimp!
Three tortillas, signature Bang Bang Shrimp, greens, tomatoes, and sour cream, with a side of steamed broccoli.
...
For Mom: Shrimp Pad Tai. 
A seafood twist on a traditional dish!
A warm bowl of shrimp, rice noodles, green onions, peanuts, eggs, and traditional sauce.
...
For Dad: Wagyu Beef Burger. 
Received the "Dad Approves" seal of approval!
Wagyu beef on a toasted bun, with sharp cheddar, special sauce, and a side of fries.
...
For Erik: Rib-eye Steak.
Erik's favorite dish! 
(We know this because he orders it every time.) 
An 18 oz juicy steakhouse style cut, with a double side of garlic mashed potatoes.
...
For dessert: Strawberry Shortcake. 
A summer seasonal dessert!
Fresh biscuits served with sliced strawberries and homemade whipped cream topping.
...
Before the season is over treat your friends and family to an end of summer outing at Bonefish Grill! Try their delicious seasonal dishes before they're gone!

Brome Blogger Brunch!




We've attended our fair share of events over the years.
From foodie gatherings, to fashion shows, to store openings, we've done it all.
The only thing we hadn't done yet?
Host our own event!
...
While the thought was exciting, it was also daunting.
As an avid party planner (does High School count?), I knew that while parties are fun, the planning that goes into it can be quite the headache.
Until Brome Modern Eatery put all our worries to rest.
They offered their own invitations, food spread, and location downtown.
All we needed to do was pick a date and invite some guests.
...
So, we planned the first Bedazzled Britt Brome Blogger's Brunch!
...
It was held in Brome's Balence sky walk juice bar, with the perfect lighting to take plenty of goofy pics in front of our tropical backdrop.
Poor Savannah got a balloon to the head a few times while we were driving them over (sorry Sav).
 We sampled one of everything off Brome's extensive menu of burgers, fries, salads, shakes, and smoothies.
Most importantly we rekindled old friendships and made new ones.
...
We loved seeing you ladies being carefree and creative, and connecting with each other at our event! That's what this is all about. Blogging isn't meant for cliques, it's meant for connecting with all other bloggers. Learning and sharing, enjoying one another's company, and experiencing this crazy creative lifestyle together.

That's why we'll be hosting many more events to come!

Driving Detroit With Hyundai!



As bloggers, we are constantly driving to and from the heart of Detroit to do business with other Detroit creatives. Two weeks ago, we were invited to meet up with Detroit's hottest bloggers, designers, photographers, videographers, models, and artists to create content to get people excited over the city. 
You could say we are trying to be a driving force behind Detroit ;)
So we packed up our 2018 Electric Blue Hyundai Sonata Limited, and headed to the city. 
...
While this was just one of many events we attend in Detroit, we noticed a few common factors in our visits that were easily avoided with the Hyundai Sonata.
...
We always have our hands full.
When heading to these events, we're overwhelmed with makeup bags, camera bags, outfit changes, etc.
With its hands-free smart trunk with auto open, we didn't have to attempt to pry the trunk open with our foot while balancing on the other with arms full of precious cargo!
...
Parking is always impossible.
Detroit is filled with narrow parking garages, street sides that require parallel parking, and lots with spaces stacked on top of each other. 
With the Sonata's rear view camera, blind spot detection system, and rear cross traffic alert, parking was a beautiful and effortless thing. Especially since our meetup began on the top level of a packed Z-Garage!
...
We're always crammed in the car.
When we go to these events we like to carpool, and cramming 3-4 artists in a car along with all our gear makes for a tight ride! 
The Sonata was extremely spacious for a car, and the driver's front seat automatically pushed back to make room for the driver to get in, and then pulled forward for Savannah behind me to have plenty of leg room!
...
Our cell phones are dead by the end of the day.
So what if we like to take a lot of selfies and share every teensie detail of what we're doing? Trust us, we weren't the only ones there draining that cell battery.
Thankfully the Sonata had a wireless device charging station that we took full advantage of!
...
While literally and figuratively driving Detroit, we felt fortunate to enjoy the ease that our Hyundai Sonata offered us. 
Thank you, Hyundai for making this our most successful meetup yet!
