Rodan And Fields Self Tanner!

"Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the tannest of them all?" Okay, so I'm not the most tan in the land, BUT I'm coming pretty close to it with my Rodan and Fields Foaming Sunless Tanner
...
Real talk guys, if it weren't for their natural tanner my legs would be as white as my blouse! It came in handy on my trip to Texas, and now it's saving me from looking like a ghost this spring. Come on, people!!! I live in Michigan, I won't get a nice tan like this until at least July.
...
The foamless self tanner is a natural tanning solution, and is actually SPF 30. In case the sun decides to show itself here ;) It's lightweight and non-greasy. It's fast-drying, and water-resistant for up to 40 minutes! It only takes about an hour to start working, and takes only two applications to see a significant difference in color. The tan lasts a little longer than a week after each application, so you have to keep up on it! And you can't slack on your applications. Make sure that you evenly cover every inch you'd like tan, or you will definitely notice a missing blotch of color! That just goes to show how fast and fabulous it works!
...
Thank you to my friend AJ for blessing me with this gorgeous natural glow! Message my girl on her Instagram, email, or visit her website and use her ID: 8695652 if you want to get that golden glow going on too!

*This is my unique story; for info re: typical results search 'Rodan + Fields IDS.*

Support Penny Heart!

I've always been a backpack girl. While I love a good purse, it's just not convenient for my lifestyle! Between working a full time job & blog, and modeling on the side, I travel A LOT. When I say a lot, I mean a lot. For example, I spent January in Georgia, beginning of February up in Traverse City, end of February in Lansing, beginning of March in Texas, and just returned from a trip to Canada.
...
They even put a hold on my credit card because they couldn't figure out how I went from Texas to Canada to Michigan within 10 days.
Whoops.
...
Backpacks are an absolute life saver for me. I cram all my travel, work, and blog essentials in there, sling it on my back and go! Not to mention, carrying a purse around all day causes some major shoulder pain. I hardly notice the weight of my backpacks.
....
My biggest problem with backpacks?
It's impossible to find a stylish backpack.
My solution?
...
If you haven't heard of Penny Heart yet, they are the latest and greatest backpack to potentially hit the market. Why potentially you say? Well, they just launched their first Indiegogo with their product, The Mini Penny Bag. In order for it to hit the market, they must first meet their funding goal. Why should you support their Penny Bag? Well, because it's cute, compact, customizable, and PERFECT for travel! You are given the many beautiful options above to create your own bag. I chose the Black Nylon and Camel Leather Flap Bag with matching Camel Strap, and I'm in love! You have the ability to switch any of their flaps, straps, or charms to change it up in order to match multiple looks! No other bag on the market has that capability, it is undeniably unique.
...
It's also pretty much the greatest thing since sliced bread.
I know what I'm taking with me next time I visit multiple countries in a week!
...
Go give them a follow on Instagram and support their Indiegogo, so we can all have the luxury of a super stylish backpack!
If you purchase yours now as an Early Bird Indiegogo Backer, you receive your bag at 40% off.
So hurry up already!

Touring Texas!

I will always love the feeling of being a tourist. No shame, I will be the one rocking a camera and proudly carrying the information pamphlet. Traveling for me is the greatest form of education, and the best way to expand my heart, soul, and way of thinking.
...
It's also a great excuse to act like a nutball in public.
What?
No one knows you there ;)
...
That's exactly what I do when I travel with Kyle and Trev. Those two goofballs I get to call my best friends mean more to me than they'll ever know. Although our trips seem to never flow smoothly, we sure know how to get some good stories and laughs out of our time together.
...
For example: Our trip started out with an overnight delay caused by a freak snowstorm that decided to pop up the day we were scheduled to fly out. After being unable to find a hotel within 20 miles due to 100+ flights being delayed, we drove all the way home to get 2 hours of sleep and drive back. The next morning our flight was then delayed another few hours, totaling to a 15 hour overall delay.
BUT, we eventually made it to Texas xD
...
When we finally hit sunny Texas, we spent plenty of time "playing tourist". Our friend Luke, who we went to visit gave us the grand tour of the USS Lexington ship. His friend Allison gave us the backstage tour of the work she does at the Texas Aquarium. There, we pet alligators, tortoises, sharks, sea urchins, fed stingrays, and got suctioned by an overly friendly octopus. We strolled alongside the San Antonio Riverwalk, shopping, and overeating! We toured every inch of the Alamo, and took in its rich history. We had a bonfire on Padre Island, and searched the shore for seashells. We ate authentic Tex-Mex, stopped at nearly every Whataburger in Corpus Christi, and paid a visit to Buc-ee the Beaver of the massive Buc-ee's gas station on our way in AND out!
...
While we were delayed 15 hours, slept only 2 hours in 2 full days, and missed Luke's graduation ceremony from Flight School, we still managed to make the most our time together, and successfully see Texas!
...
I even came home with a western hat and a few more y'alls than usual ;)
