Last week we attended our first "Foodie Gathering" at Giordano's Detroit! It was everything that we dreamt it would be, and more! A long table filled with Detroit's best food bloggers, talk about texture and consistency, taking turns snapping pics of "cheesy pizza pulls", and course upon course of food!

First up on the menu were their starters. Artichoke Fritters, Wisconsin Cheese Curds, Chicken Wings, and Mama's Famous Meatballs! I dove into the Fritters and Curds, enjoying the lemon basil aioli sauce and crispy light breading!

Next up was their Harvest Green Salads, and Italiano Salad. I tried the Harvest Green, filled with spring greens, dried fruits and walnuts, covered in a balsamic vinaigrette.

After that were their Fettuccine Alfredo and Spaghetti entrees! I only took a taste of the Alfredo, hoping to save room for the main attraction: pizza!

The aroma that followed was heavenly! They served up Bratwurst Deep Dish, Chicken Sausage Deluxe Deep Dish, Fresh Spinach Deep Dish, and Super Veggie Thin Crust! I tried the Bratwurst and Spinach, and absolutely fell in love with the Spinach! Emily tried the Veggie, and raved about how good it was!

Last up was the dessert menu: Brownie Bites and Oversized Cookie Skillets! Emily and I shared a warm Salted Carmel Skillet covered in vanilla ice cream.
