I've read my fair share of magazines. Something about getting one through the mail every month was very exciting as a kid. Over the years, I've had subscriptions to Vogue, Seventeen, Cosmo Girl, Alternative Press, etc. As glamourous as it felt to read them, I couldn't truly relate to them. I didn't wear their brands, attend their events, or personally know their celebrities. As awful as this sounds, I wasn't even ever impressed by their fashions. To be honest my favorite part was the horoscopes and wall posters of my man crush, Brendon Urie. And if you don't know who he is, we can't be friends.

Just kidding!
He's the lead singer of Panic At The Disco. Look him up, you won't regret it.

It's been awhile since a magazine has caught my attention. That's until my friend Cheryl Zemke, designer of C3 Creations, told me she was venturing into the magazine world. I was invited to be featured in an upcoming issue, and weeks later shot it at the Lavender Labyrinth up in Shelby, Michigan. Last month I ordered their premier issue, and was pleasantly surprised! I could relate to everything. The brands were made in Michigan, the events were local, and the fashions were fashionable! I even personally knew the designers and models ;)

Plus, my nose graces the back cover.
No big deal.

So if you like to relate to a magazine like I do, try Dedicated Magazine. And keep a look out for their January issue ;)
