Bonefish Grill!


There's only three big things I crave: Chinese food, mom's homemade peanut butter cookies, and seafood! I recently satisfied that craving for fresh seafood at Bonefish Grill of Troy with Emily and Erik. Right now Bonefish is teaming top tastes for menu choices for their summer specials. With all the mouthwatering options I had a difficult time deciding, but in the end I couldn't resist trying the seasonal Caribbean Style Dayboat Scallops dish! Sushi-grade caramelized scallops served with fresh pineapple salsa and vanilla bean rum butter, alongside green beans and jasmine rice.

Of course Emily ordered the same (copycat, hehe), and Erik went with a Wood Grilled Sirloin and Cold Water Lobster Tail. For dessert, we first tried the Summer Berry Bread Pudding. House-made brioche bread pudding, served with fresh summer berries, ice cream, whipped cream, and salted caramel sauce.

Then came the Key Lime Pie that Erik joked was "better than in the Keys of Florida" with the lovely owner, Jared. You know you've found a gem when the restaurant not only has amazing food, but a beautiful upscale ambiance, a great staff, and service that goes above and beyond expectations! It was truly a dining experience, and we had an absolutely wonderful time.
